THE MILITARY SEASON IS ON US WITH NORTHOLT LAST SATURDAY, lovely hangar,
BENSON 11thAug AND A NEW ONE....BOSCOMBE DOWN 9th SEPTEMBER
Although Benson is fully subscribed we need to know who would be willing to give us a hand at Boscombe Down where they are celebrating 100yrs of test flying.
It's an afternoon (1400 start) so plenty of time to get down there and set up.
David Oswald or moi need to know names and cars details ASAP please.
Northolt was a "raging" success as the weather drove the family's into see us!
We met WingCo Gaz Littlechild and received a great welcome from all .
The next day Martyn and I were at the Maidenhead Festival with 4 Pedal planes and the cockpit and did well, met lots of interested local families and visitors, a very hectic time but brilliant.
Gill, who runs some of our evenings, is advertising the "Jersey Guys" as some of the singers have been to our evenings past....
The Seneca simulator is doing well in the hands of Peter Dobson at his house, south of Farnham.
We aim to have it back next Friday 4th at my place if you want to join in, tea/coffee and biscuits inc.!
"The Air Pilots flying club " have been very kind to us and donated a worthy sum to the Seneca sim. cause. Many thanks Dacre and all.
