GOOD AFTERNOON JOYSTICKERS! www.joystickers.co.uk

T

hings are moving lightning fast after a very good ,but freezing morning at BURCHETTS GREEN INFANTS SCHOOL last Thursday.

55 youngsters had a look at our Tomahawk cockpit and pedal planes outside (0 degrees c!) in the care of Messrs' MacKinnon , Baker and Potts.

Lesley,David O ,Martyn and myself confused them with cards, allen screw drivers and videos in the warm!

Afterwards we retired to the club for sustenance and to await Peter Dobson for a planning session on the Seneca Sim.

Simon O’Connell arranged for the cockpit to be outside the Bond Hangar, in the cold again, so we all had chance for a selfie and to use our measuring sticks.

We’re now in the process of deciding trailers, Peter Baileys kind gift of his would need a fair amount of work, as well as new tyres , to increase its width and lower it so the Seneca doesn’t sit too high. It would be ideal to get it into a garage easily for the weeks ahead of fitting out.

Steve Elkin is looking into trailers on eBay while I’m waiting for a quote on a totally new basic one.

Blasting up into the up atmosphere our next speaker can relate to that and has early connections to White Waltham......
